FPX (Financial Process Exchange) is a payment gateway that lets you pay a merchant or platform directly from your online banking account, often seen at checkout as “FPX Online Banking”. It works like an instant bank transfer rather than a card payment.
When it matters
Because FPX moves money straight out of your bank account, there is no chargeback protection the way a credit card has. If you paid a scam platform through FPX, your only realistic options are asking your bank about a bank recall if it was recent, or reporting through 997 and a police report. Always check that a site asking for FPX payment is the genuine platform before you pay.
